Call for Nominations

KAMA Outstanding Marketing Professional

November 9, 2011 – November 28, 2011

You are invited to submit a nomination for the KAMA Outstanding Marketing Professional. The honoree will be presented with the award at the Honors event on April 19, 2012 at the Orangery.

This honor is presented to a marketing practitioner whose career has elevated the profession through marketing excellence and promoted ethical and professional practices. In addition, scholarships will be presented in honor of the winner to the Outstanding Marketing Student award winners. The criteria for this honor is as follows:

A 20+ year career serving as a role model for our business and marketing community;

 Recognized marketing knowledge and skills which have enhanced the visibility, viability, and credibility of the marketing profession, and;

 Possession of the qualities that are the integral to the purpose of the KAMA – to enhance the professional and ethical practice of marketing, to foster educational opportunities, and to promote excellence.

The award is not given for a single marketing campaign, but for cumulative marketing career achievements.

Nominations are due November 28, 2011. If your nominee is selected as a finalist, we may request a summary of their career at that time.
