Come hear Scott discuss the iconic “Jay and Duke” campaign – it’s much more than a talking dog. Since joining Bush Brothers & Company, Scott has led the commercial launch of Bush’s Grillin’ Beans and brought holistic planning and marketing processes to the company.
Scott Daniel, a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, received his Bachelor of Arts, MBA, and Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee.  He has managed two of America’s most enduring brands: Tide Laundry Detergent and Bush’s Baked Beans.   Scott began his career selling Procter & Gamble products to Wal-Mart in Bentonville, Arkansas, but found his passion in brand management. He was the brand manager on one of P & G’s most successful TV ads:  Tide to Go Talking Stain.  After winning a Silver Lion at the 2006 Cannes Advertising Festival, it aired during Super Bowl XLII.  In 2008, CBS recognized Talking Stain as one of the Top Ten Super Bowl Ads of all time.  Since joining Bush Brothers & Company, he has led the commercial launch of Bush’s Grillin’ Beans and brought holistic planning and marketing processes to the company.  He currently serves on the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital Marketing Board, Kingston Pike-Sequoyah Hill Neighborhood Association Board, and is actively involved with the UT College of Business Administration, Nucleus Knoxville, and American Heart Association Red Tie Society.  His wife, Stephanie, is an attorney for Fifth-Third Bank.  They have two sons, Weston (2), Baker (4 months).
