"OUT OF THE FIRE" KAMA/AAF Luncheon @ Peerless Restuarant
03/25/2010
Last March, the Knoxville American Marketing Association and American Advertising Federation of Knoxville teamed together to bring you a very timely discussion on ways to cope with an economic downturn that would prove to be historic. Some of the brightest marketing minds in the area on last year's panel gave us an idea of what the marketing and advertising landscape might hold, and provided a blueprint on how to get through the tough economic times.
One year later, the downturn seems to have bottomed out. Lessons in the business world have been learned and companies are finding ways to do more with less. Four prominent members of our marketing community, Ben McWhorter - CRMC, Director of Sales for Citadel Broadcasting, Barbara Grobicki - Director of Ad-Sales Marketing for Scripps Networks, Brooke Duncan - Senior Vice President, Account Supervisor for the Tombras Group, and Michelle Anningson, Senior Field Marketing Manager for U.S. Cellular will be on-hand to talk about the effects this downturn has had on the marketing and advertising landscape over the past year. This discussion will focus not only on their own companies, but also on how their respective clients have navigated through this downturn and pulled themselves "out of the fire."
Please join the KAMA and AAF-Knoxville for another special networking event on Thursday, March 25 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Peerless Restaurant in West Knoxville. Registration for this event is only $25/person and parking is free. Please make sure to RSVP by Wednesday, March 24 to reserve your spot!
